果醬升級版 Upgrade UR Jam


一般來說,果醬都很甜,吃久了很容易膩,如果拿來改一下,馬上好吃升級喔。我這次用水蜜桃+芒果+杏桃綜合果醬當例子。

I bought a big jar of Mango / Peach & Apricot jam from Costco, I like it, but it's way too sweet for my liking, I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to finish the whole jar of jam any time soon, so I decided to do a little experiment to make the jam taste better.

Jam 1c (almost any favorite works but grapes);1 Lemon zest and juice;Pinch of cinnamon;1/2 Apple (or Pear) peer and grated
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, Stir in the grated apple (or pear) until soft and add the rest of ingredients, bring to boil.
2. In another pot, bring the water to boil, place the jar in the boiling water and then dry the jar by hair-dryer. (Skip this if the jam can be finished immediately)
3. Fill the jam into the jar and invert into the hot water for 1 minute. Take out and Let it cool down before refrigerating.

1顆 黃檸檬皮+檸檬汁;果醬1杯(葡萄果醬不適合這次的做法);肉桂粉少許;切小丁的蘋果或梨子半顆
1. 中火起鍋,入蘋果(或梨)炒軟後把其他的材料加入,持續攪拌熬煮。
2. 另準備一個湯鍋煮水,沸騰後入玻璃罐煮3分鐘後關火,吹風機吹乾玻璃罐。(如果很快就用完就不需要玻璃罐)
3. 果醬煮勻後關火,裝罐,倒過來頭下底上放入熱水中1分鍾,取出放涼後移至冰箱。

Used this upgraded version of jam to make the sweet desert bread, it tastes delicious as well.  
改造好的果醬,做成果醬麵包也很好吃。
